Our STEINERT KSS | XT CLI combination sorting system – the all-rounder with XRT (X-ray transmission)
The multisensory answer to increasingly complex requirements in material separation
We have harmonised four sensor systems in this combination sorting system. Two optical sensors provide colour and three-dimensional shape information, the inductive sensor detects metals and X-ray transmission is used to detect differences in density.
By logically linking the multi-sensor data recorded for each individual object, a wide variety of tasks can be covered with just one sorting machine. This combination is therefore often integrated into a processing concept as a stand-alone solution in order to significantly increase the sorting depth for smaller mass flows. Individual equipment and programme creation are mandatory.
The combination of X-ray transmission (XRT) and 3D enables an additional evaluation of object characteristics and makes our system less sensitive to large differences in the sorting material.
STEINERT KSS | XT CLI is a combination of:
C = colour detection
L = laser (3D detection)
I = inductive sensor
XT = X-ray transmission
