The screw conveyors DMR are tubular screws with a spiral supported on one side. They are connected downstream of a dosing device and then convey the dosed product to the loading point without influencing the dosing.
The conveyor type and the maximum length are determined depending on the conveyed medium and the performance.
Length of a conveyor: 1 to 20 meters, the conveyor can bridge heights and overcome radii, inclination up to 90° to the upstream dosing screw.
In the case of long conveying distances or due to local conditions, several conveyors may be switched on one after the other.
Functional principle of the DMR screw conveyor:
The screw conveyors DMR consist of pipes with connecting elements, which have a connection on the inlet side for taking over the product to be conveyed and a connection on the outlet side, which is equipped with a jam indicator.
A screw conveyor with a fixed speed then constantly transports the product through the conveyor pipe.
In contrast to the volumetric feeder, which by definition works saturated, the conveyor is designed for a lower degree of filling. Since it is less stressed than a dosing device, it can cover longer conveying distances.
In the case of variable power delivery, the device is designed to accept both the minimum and the maximum power without changing the speed of the conveyor (except in special cases)
