An hygroscopic product, which tends to lump formation and crustification, should be discharged securely with an output of 100 t/h.

The vibration bin discharger „Extra-Vib“, powered by one vibration motor – or for bigger devices by two motors, is put into horizontal vibrations, which transmit themselves on the particle-collective. The particles of the goods in bulk are rushed, they meet and separate them¬selves. Thereby the bulk solids become capable of flowing. In case of right dimen-sioning, mass flow is occuring in the silo without dead zones and with steady material movement over the whole silo section, as condition for segregation-free discharge. Even challenging, cohesive bulk solids are discharged securely. Due to the special shaping, grain distruction is avoided and abrasion and wearing are minimised.

For hygroscopic products, which tend to build agglomerates, clumps or crustifications, an integrated vibration grating is used. It dissolves agglomerates and breaks clumps and crustifications on such a size, that downstream devices aren´t affected in their function.

Special importance, especially in case of bigger units, is attached to the hanging and elastic bearing of the vibration bin discharger. The statical computation of the silo has shown, that non-operated only a part of zhe bulk solids stand weighs on the discharge device, because the bulk solids stand shores up partially at the silo boards. But you have to consider, that this shoring depends on the board friction. Especially flat surfaces, which are bulit by the sliding of the product during the useful life, lead to higher loadings. Different loadings occur during the filling and emptying process. In case of extracting extracted with high discharge output (100 t/h for instance), the stopping leads to a peak in loading, which could be a multiple of the statical loading and which has to be absorbed as well.
Bulk solids which tend to self-fluidisation due to movement, can transform into a liquid and load with the whole bulk solids stand on the discharge bottom. With the delivered unit that would be about 100t at a silo height of 10m, for example. But also in case of common sizes of about 2m  this could be about 35 t anyhow. These loadings have to be borne by the elastic hanging. This has to be, despite of the high loading, that elastic, that vibrations are as few as possible brought forward to the silo.

In case of „Extra-Vib“ these demands are solved by the hanging in elastic suspension arms. The needed elastic force is reached by the double elastic bearing in rubber-metal bushings. The forged hanger guarantees the break-proof hanging. So called fall protections aren´t necessary with this solution.

The programme of S.S.T-Schüttguttechnik covers vibration bin dischargers of 600 up to 3600 mm diameter in steel and stainless steel, heat-resistant and wear-resistant constructions as well as pressure surge protected and compression-proof models with ATEX- respectively TÜV-certificate.
