In a world characterized by rapid changes and challenges, the ROBIN GUT association sets a sign of hope and sustainability. Instead of traditional Christmas mail and the associated costs, we decided to realize an impressive vision in the wake of the Ahr flood in 2021 by the 3rd anniversary in 2024: the planting of 1 million trees in Germany. As a start, all participants start with 10,000 trees in the municipality of Müsch, which was affected by the Ahr flood.
Stern TV presenter and ROBIN GUT founder Dieter Könnes was deeply touched by the Ahr flood in 2021 and has made it his mission not only to remove the traces of destruction, but also to actively do something for the environment and the community. The idea of planting 1 million trees goes beyond mere reforestation; it symbolizes the common will to put down roots and pave a sustainable path for the future.
By the 3rd anniversary of the Ahr flood in 2024, ROBIN GUT plans to have 1 million trees running through the Ahr valley. The journey there will be shaped not only by the number of trees planted, but also by the stories and commitment of the people who make this vision a reality. ROBIN GUT’s project is more than just an ecological initiative; it is a sign of community, cohesion and action for a better future.
